you never sure that there is racism until the presumed racists confess they are racist

je fais des exceptions (I make some exceptions)

sans excès, c'est supportable ( if you don't exaggerate, you can handle it)

j'accepte une certaine tolérance (I accept a kind of tolerance about it)

je ne suis pas raciste mais
je voudrais plus de gens comme ceci et moins comme cela (I would like more people like this and less like that)

je ne suis pas raciste mais
quand je me ballade comme touriste, je comprends les locaux (When I travel as a tourist, I understand the locals)

I guess we must define the level of 'racistness' in each act of racism too. People are quick to call many things 'racist' which are never intended to be so.
