Fly solo

The solo candle burns by night
With a music the rains fall
It's spring earth is alive
Loved ones in grave
Smile now in faces of
In faces of daffodils
I see a solo flying bird
As evening goes ,night falls
I know thine heart is broken
Retreat thy to silent caves
Or be lost in the dark
Where no faces to see
And none to talk

I find this rather sombre. At the same time it is an intriguing read. In my interpretation the choice is similar to one that I have envisaged: So I ask how it is possible to be lost in the dark when your own light is illuminating. Blessings, Allen
