I don't even know where to begin
-there's much to say
I've been wanting to say this for a long time,
and now captive are your ears

your fears, your tears and you will hear me!
I've been around since life itself
upon the shelf a toy for you to play with
at your will and never mine

but now the gaps, they truly show
you know more than you wanted to ever
have to know, to show, to blow like ashes
from your shoulder to the earth a bold rebirth_You.

and while you're in my grasp I'll tell you
wrap you in these rhymes bespell you
flowing with the words, absurd, to think
a wink, a ship that sinks, are you

but I shall be the one that brings you
rings within, a voice true to you harsh
if need be, angry, sometimes if you make me
be that way for you, whatever do you want of me?

I'll do it, I've done it, I_I_I and not you
hiding cesspool of contagious doubt
you will fall, and I will rise above the flame
scarred, but minus_You.
