A poem about how depression feels.

Clouds Have Fallen

Clouds have fallen to the ground
So tired of being skyward bound
The mountains now look so glum
Sunk beneath a half-hearted sun
See sky as blue as new baby boys
Weeping for lost rattles and toys
The road ends in the haze of heat
Looking for friends it’ll never meet
And I am standing towards the day
That is telling me loudly to go away

I often wondered if fog
Was clouds that had fallen
To the ground

"A hauntingly beautiful description of the sky, tinged with melancholy. Could the heavens hold the secrets of what is to come?"

“Marge…. Marge, the rains are here!” Or “the sky is falling!” (Asterix) Good one Dave, glad you brought this out to air!
