SIGNED A WORRIED MAN

I haven't been myself,
Dementia seen to that.
I don't remember who I am,
Or were I think I'm at.

Sometimes it's the little thing's,
That I could have remembered.
Turns my thoughts further aside,
I cannot remember the church,
But I know I have a bride.

Won't someone out there,
Please show me who I am.
I think that I've forgotten,
Signed a worried man.

Though the "worried man" speaks of fading bridges, there is dignity in the truths he still clings to—the awareness of a bride, the thread of faith, and the courage to voice his plea. These words stand as a testament to the strength of the soul that persists, even when memory falters. To this voice, I offer admiration for its courage in sharing, and respect for the depth of humanity it so beautifully expresses.
