THERE'S A WORLD

There is a world out there,
Held within my dementia mind.
Where there's no confusion,
About what it means to be kind.

There is no famine there,
All are treated with respect.
There's no room for hatred,
When only love is left.

In the vastness of our universe,
For intelligence ours is the first.
So why do some of us,
Treat life as if it is a curse.

For me I have no time to weep,
I lose a bit more of my reality.
When my mind floats away,
Everytime I fall asleep.

And yet you come up with poetic truths like this. You are so astute as to see what you describe in your first two stanza particularly, as being not only the desired state of being, but the only way one man can live in peace with another. Blessings my friend, Allen
