Sanitation Trick
When something is done,
the rest is just something you have to relate to,
not at all in your line of beauty,
but just the inertia of existence
You go on,
like thrown out the city gate,
ahead of yourself,
no time to remember, all time to forget
When something is done
it's already forgotten, a crumpling old sketch
I say to myself: "It goes on"
and in a flash it's long ago;
all the goings-on and me, dissolved
in a universal sanitation trick
