Rambling of an old man cancer free

Okay now where do I begin,
My results have come in.
My family made a big fuss,
Thankfully I'm cancer free.
I found it quite scary for me,
My dad died with brain cancer.

The fear of cancer was all I saw,
Sorry I don't mean to be a bore.
Diverticulitis in old age is,
Another thing to look forward for.
Still it's better than the alternative,
Before the reaper knocks on my door.

For all out there who showed they care,
Who are going through something similar.
You may find it's to much to bare,
If your troubled mind can't help in time,
You may find it's easier if you share.

Congratulations, Alan. Well, for me, they say I have a small area on each kidney that looks like cancer. Fairly early stages of the discovery as yet, with my second MRI scan booked next Friday to assess if there is any change. I've did have cancer once, and perhaps that's why I am not pooing my breaches. They can make mistakes! I was once told I had prostate cancer.... and they got that wrong! Blessings and positive thoughts for your long term survival my friend. Allen
