I LIKE TO KEEP AN EYE ON YOU

I go and gather thoughts of you
like flowers in a summers field
I know that you can tell I am
You always know to think of me
The way you make me feel
I’m singing on the telephone
I’m laughing in my sleep
Forgetting how the real world goes
Remembering important things
As what you mean to me

You got a fool too lazy
To face necessity
I call on the moments
And go sailing on that stream

I choose to keep my senses high
I like to keep an eye on you

You are my ecstasy
Simply extraordinary
