Mostly Clean
I'm not a liar —I could say I never was,
But that would be false,
Because lips can be loose
And run wild like a goose.
I may have said one lie or three,
But I promise thee:
I am mostly clean,
And never mean
Anything truly mean.
So I apologize
If a lie comes in between.
