Revealing


I am, I know
More than your friend
And you look at me wherever I go
And you'll know I'm not the end.

The sun shining so slow
And wherever I go
You dream of me on your pillow.

I don't need your words to confess
That I am more than your friend
Without hugging me, you success
Here with me, with no end.

The smell of your skin
Sweetens my dreams to be with you.
And you're faithful in
Being more than a friend for you
As a bee and honeycomb to defend for you.

It's not a silly poem
That escapes to be with you
I don't need wisdom
That I'm more than a friend for you
And you're my best rhythm.

I don't need to hug you to touch the sky
With your promises, you give me wings and make me fly.
Whisper slowly to my ear
And you'll know I'm here.

I don't need to say I need you here with me
I breathe your air and I feel without end
Without you, there's no freedom where I could be
If I am not more than your friend.
