There ain't winners when the hearts are broken
You've been the one I dreamed ofThe one I've longed to hold in my heart.
You've been the mind I've adored to think of.
Possibilities for a broken heart apart
Philosophies of powerlessness to belong to.
But saldy I wanted to...
You've been the perfection of my own mistake
I gave more than I could and you could take.
You've been the emptiness when I freely fall
You were there whenever I could call
Saving my life and consuming my last breath
I could be alive when I was close to death.
Stories have both versions to blame or to console
It doesn't matter if we give our life and soul.
Stories have both sides to decide or to defend
But I'm sorry this is what I can't defend.
Maybe I will be your foe
But I let it go.
There ain't winners when the hearts are broken
There ain't finish lines when the souls are empty.
There ain't dreams when the wings are broken
There ain't tomorrow when days have no fantasy.
We were strong and weak
When we both wanted to speak
We were truth and lies
When we just closed our eyes.
We were in love behind a closed-mind
Were were lost though we tried to find.
There ain't winners when the hearts are broken.
There ain't dreamers when the dreams are stolen.
There ain't believers when both walk away
There ain't tomorrow when we just melt away.
