A love poem, I suppose
so do you bathe me in affection, that I may shine.
But like that brilliant temptress of the night,
I have a dark side too--too dark, perhaps.
I should hope that your love-light might revolve
and re-reflect the pleasure you have given me,
leaving the darkness dark, and ricocheting
off all sad things, all bad things, all discontent,
and leaving us, two trembling stars illuminated by
heat that cold moons can only dream of.

Love in the Shadows of the Moon
Just as the moon reflects the light of the sun,so do you bathe me in affection, that I may shine.
