Through The Night
Saw you walking through the nightYou were beautifully sublime
Your features composed of light
As we were running out of time
You saw through me and my ruse
Just a wishful thought to keep in mind
It was easy to confuse
For the denouement of humankind
No one was there when last we spoke
Only a ghost too dear to symphatize
I did not see that through the smoke
That a different look was in your eyes
You were beautifully sublime
As we were running out of time
Your features composing light
Saw you walking through the night
