slowly the winter is coming near

winters arriving

freezing and cold
far from this east
high mountains
and fog blue sky
none dares to
wake from beds
temperature dips to zero
keep these lights off
let you hear eagles voice

William Hughes The PoetBay support member heart!
Nice, compact verse. I'm not a fan of winter. I count the days 'til the trees turn green again.

the more enigmatic for me in your poem is the last line
let you hear eagles voice
eagle voice ! I wouldn't have thought of that liberty voice, hunter voice...I can't fix my mind on it, just watch it go toward the horizon
