OK Boomer
We long for what they promised usBefore they broke the world in half.
We long for what they promised us.
We long for what we’re meant to have
That they used up. That they spent clean.
Leaving us nothing but a dream
Never to be full realized
Except as twinkles in our eyes.
We long for what they promised us
And if they keep denying it
We’ll burn the world with them in it
And laugh as they beg forgiveness.
