Failed Messiahs

Christ lays catatonic in the corner,
Muhammad mumbles foreign fallacies
While Moses meanders down rivers of thought
And Buddha blunders over crossword puzzles.

My sons, was it that hard being human?
My sons, was it that hard conquering humanity?
How weak you were to fail my mission.
How warped you’ve come back to heaven to me.
