SURVIVING ANOTHER YEAR

Most of us have,
Survived another year.
I shed a tear,
For those that didn't.

Wether it was by,
The hands of others.
Being sisters, Brothers,
Uncles or brothers.

Not one deserved to die,
Not before it was their time.
Why must there be a plague of death,
Isn't death inevitable in the end?

Why can't we tolerate one another,
Or at least try to be friends.
For apart from religious beliefs,
We're all the same colour under our skins.

I hold no religion as kin,
That doesn't treat killing.
As a heinous sin,
When life should be revered.

Wether enemy or friend,
One thing is certain. We should
all enjoy the company of others,
For we all die in the end.

Every new born child,
Makes me smile.
Every killing of a child,
Makes me cry.
Doesn't it you too:
