Insurances are supposed to give me good sleeping times but can all risks be avoided in all times...if you are smart, you should work on people fearing to take risks, and insure the pioneers of AI
the cost of things were not so expensive
so the people had not the feeling that they worked
for a salary
that means that they probably could work for something
they loved more or ended to love more...or were indulged to work
pioneers were not paid by a government when they settled
in America, they would take risks that could take their life
insurances didn't exist on such scales back to that times
today advisors quite guarantee insurances will save your life
so that people will fear to take any risks
Soldiers don't fight for money or they are called mercenaries
because they risk to loose much more than simply money
btw, they have also a bad reputation comparing to the regular army
by instance, they will surrender to their enemy if their enemies pay them more
