for Isabelle

starry night

oh, starry night—

from the top, the view, the hills, the vale

the downwardness, the swoop

the giddy side of gravity, the levity of gravity

the world in motion

whatever world you choose to see, as you gain speed

you see in flashes

thinking celestial thoughts of tomorrowness

and ancestors

never coming to the end, until, of course, you do—

not yet, this is a journey

no one knows how it will end, or when

starry night

nobody knows how the story ends—

Yes, and we are just being under the starry sky and falling asleep while gazing at it. There was Van gogh and it makes me very happy to say- there is you.

This carried me through thoughts of indecisiveness, hope, sorrow and a lot in between and culminating in acceptance, much enjoyed.
