I didn't study demographybut what pops in my mind is that
the rate of births are depending
a lot on women
because she detains most of the
factors of birth
for instance
the periods
the duration of pregnancy
the time between when
she is fertile
actually if you have 11 women
and one man on an island
you can compute how many children maximum
could be born out of these 11+1 persons
the man is only there to trigger the process
of reproduction
Am I correct? because I am not a scientist...
