at court that morning... (justice for all and all for justice)

One gives people power -
a power that’s basically made up out of thin air -
and then we start caring about their moods.

"Did you eat okay, Mr. Judge?"
"No, I had a rough night’s sleep."

It’s been a long time since the verdicts I hand down really get to me anymore, but still... bad luck for whoever shows up in court today. They’re in for a rough time. It’s all because I had a bad night, but work doesn’t wait... justice must be handed out no matter what, whether I’m in good shape or not.
