Bite Me Bloody (II)
Whatever I read
the storm swells –
I seal it with my mouth
Memory burns clear.
Even the smallest life’s longing
enters me
Grass heaves under wind.
Ants think together.
Injustice echoes everywhere
A thread of sunlight wounds me with knowing.
I bite –
until blood answers –
for the friend who was everything
and time has taken
For what has touched me
and what has struck me
For every restless soul inside me.
For every honest word
