And a happy easter to one and all.

JUST ODDMENTS OF THOUGHTS

It takes me all day
To be spontaneous.

Did you take your tablets in the end?
I replied, " No I took them by mouth ".

Will we still have time to live?
When we are dead...

How does a Perfusion of thoughts;
Run through my head, With no legs.

If you pay for a cremation,
Do you get your money back
If you die in a fire?

If you bet on the day of your death,
And you win, How does one collect?

If a thought never existed,
Would we ponder about it?

How long do you have to have, A tin
of new potatoes before they turn old?

Is a smile a virus,?
Only when somebody smiles at me,
I get infected too.

See, this is what I love about Poetbay: artists in conversation with each other. I remember a poem you replied to some days back about betting on the day you died and here you've added it into your poem.

Also: It takes me all day/To be spontaneous.

I think this is one of the greatest opening lines in any poem I've read ever.

Lovely, Alan. The second stanza cracked me up and the last made me smile.
Sincerely,
Melinda
