Where All Things Exist

There is a place where all things exist
Even those that will not happen
Smiling back at you in your disillusion
Sad hearts cannot fill the gap in
.
Where every event lives on evermore
Glad as a freed flying dandelion
Grinning for never having to be lost
Like a dad with his ugliest tie on
.
“Never look back” said a scurrying rat
“Perhaps you will turn to stone”
If everything can happen and all is real
Why must we feel so all alone?
.

Nice to see you around, my friend, and to see your poetry. I think I know the place you speak about - metaphorically speaking. I think you know we are all alone in reality, because we are unique individuals. Even sharing a life with a partner doesn't take that fact away. In the beginning we arrive alone, and in the ending we say goodbye as we depart alone.
A great poem that encourages meaningful thought.
Blessings, Allen

Why, indeed... so powerful and far reaching! Powerfuel (sic) I mistyped but shall venture to let that stand on its own merit. 🕊️🙏
