I don't need a country

I don't need a country to live
I need a roof, some windows, walls and doors
a fire, water supplies, electricity supplies
and some places to store the food and of course
a bed
countries are for politicians, generals
and kings who need votes, soldiers and
the ability to register the amount of population
that lives here in order to raises taxes

Good poem. I have a different impression of the message it conveys. So, I will retract my previous words, only to say " What a wonderful world it could be......if only we could all live well and give peace a chance.
