Indentations

I sink into it,
a cradle of comfort,
contours met with
soft acceptance
as memories of the day
fade into the night.

As light punctures
through kitty claw holes,
I am released,
rise unarmored
to face the face
of a memory unyielding.

Brave you! :o)

I wish that I could feel that I was sinking into a cradle of comfort. Mine is not bad, but the memories of youthful 'tucking in' are never met in old age I feel.

Blessings, Allen
