Poetry is a very personal forms of expression. Whatever form it takes, however it comes out, whichever words feel right, it’s valid. It belongs entirely to the person writing it.
in facts and logic,
emotions threaded
into words written
in line and verse,
then filed away,
contained, completed,
a return to pattern.
My world was woven
in emotion and memory,
now unraveling
into strands
of line and verse,
rethreading the needle
before memories run out.
Two poets, differently wired,
one writes to release,
the other to recapture.
Eloquence and symbolism
in classic formation meets
free verse in simple structure,
thoughts falling out.
The beauty of poetry.
