when ?

when the seashell is born
before or after the birth of the mollusk ?
the mollusk never oversized the shell
one shell, one mollusk

When? How about now?

You cannot have one without the other, just like asking which came first—the chicken or the egg.

A mollusk's shell grows organically in perfect harmony with its body, creating an inseparable, custom-made fit.
Unlike a hermit crab that outgrows a shell and has to find a new one, a mollusk's shell grows organically in perfect proportion to its soft body. It is a perfect metaphor for a custom-made fit and natural boundaries. This unity symbolizes natural boundaries, self-acceptance.
The gem found in this poem is this: live comfortably in one's own space, embrace who you are without the need to "outgrow" or "change" identity.

"ONE SHELL, ONE MOLLUSK" .....

is the resolution serving as a statement of unity and identity. The organism with its own armor are inseparably linked as a single, harmonious entity. It illustrates how the two exist in perfect, symbiotic balance, acting as a metaphor for being content with exactly who you are and the space you occupy.

Kudos to your creation.
I love it.
