One Day I Woke Up Early

One day I woke up early
But I wasn’t there
I had vanished in the night
From not having half a care
.
Extracorporeal was I
Wherever I was at
Have you ever felt that way?
Bubble busted and flat
.
My mind was left to wander
Nothing there in sight
I wasn’t scared or worried
Didn’t see any white light
.
Then the world came into focus
Just as I had left it
Maybe transcendental meditation
Is only real if you accept it
.
Was it just a dream?
Or was I really, really gone?
Perhaps my life clock was reset
A happy birthday number one
.
.
.
