Napcats

Once I had a faithful little cat
Sitting right there no matter where I sat
Waiting by the door when I got home
Laying on the floor watching me some
Times I wonder just where she's at
Whenever I sleep she's louder than that
Busy dream in my nightcap
When I wake she takes a nap

I believe you poem wholeheartedly. I had a cat called Mimi who, for example, would walk a mile or so to meet my wife on her walk home after work. Some cats are very attentive. She used to make a growling noise when strangers came near too. Thanks for sharing. Blessings, Allen

thanks, it's a true story, just reporting the household routine.

As mischievous as a cat… you showed in simple word the trait of ruse and wit
