**Description of "Through Every Season"**

*Through Every Season* is a heartfelt poem about enduring love, loyalty, and the passage of time. Using the four seasons as symbols of life's different stages, the poem explores how relationships are tested

Through Every Season

Through Every Season

I loved you in the spring,

When the earth broke open with green desire,
And orchards dressed themselves in bloom.
The mornings arrived carrying birdsong,
And every horizon seemed willing to begin again.

I loved you in the summer,

When daylight lingered like a cherished memory,
And the sun poured gold across our skin.
The rivers moved slowly beneath the heat,
As if time itself had forgotten how to hurry.

I loved you in the autumn,

When the trees released their treasures to the wind.
Leaf by leaf, they taught me
That letting go is not always loss,
And that beauty often shines brightest before departure.

I loved you in the winter,

When silence settled over the world like snowfall.
When bare branches traced prayers against the sky,
And warmth became something precious,
Found not in fire, but in your presence.

Through every season,

You were the one thing that did not change.

Not the blossoms,
Which surrendered to time.

Not the sunlight,
Which bowed each evening to the dark.

Not the leaves,
Which danced briefly before returning to the earth.

Not the snow,
Which vanished at the touch of spring.

You remained.

A quiet certainty
In a world devoted to change.
A steady heartbeat
Beneath the noise of passing years.

And as life continued turning its endless wheel,
Carrying us through victories and wounds,
Through arrivals and departures,
Through dreams fulfilled and dreams abandoned,

One truth endured.

Spring taught me hope.

Summer taught me joy.

Autumn taught me acceptance.

Winter taught me endurance.

But you—

You taught me love.

The kind that does not fear distance,
Nor age,
Nor storms,
Nor time.

The kind that survives every ending
And finds its way into every new beginning.

So when the final season comes,
And the last page of my story is turned,

May the wind carry this simple truth
Across the years we leave behind:

Of all the things that changed,
You were the reason I remained.

Through every season.
