Broken knee

Sometimes you're filled,
With exubrants and delights.
Whilst on other's you're filled
With terrors and frights.

To live a lifetime of serenity,
Afraid for me that wasn't to be.
Not from the moment life begun,
Guess I was the forgotten one.

So here I sit all alone,
Though their all at home.
Staying in their rooms,
I wonder why I'm here.

There's no existential existence.
To explain why they lock themselves
away. Guess they have their needs,
Only coming out when it's time to feed.

I feel a little trapped,
As though I'm in a cage.
I really feel that I need,
To run away, I can't; You see;
Not with a broken knee.

Well not quite broken,
Been told it takes time to heal.
Until then I feel,
I only have one wheel.
