With Mr. Mampaka, a more right-wing, religious African, on one side, there was suddenly room for a left-wing, atheist African on the other: Mr. Kompany.
These two rival families on the political chessboard gave us a Brussels-style remake of the story of the Capulets and the Montagues.
But in the end, it’ll all work out nicely, with Mr. Mampaka’s daughter marrying Mr. Kompany’s son.
