I finally wrote something else and just to let some of you know I don't write all that often. Well I write out my thoughts but its never usually good enough to submit or be considered a poem. So therefore I never submit much stuff. well just tell me what


Can't Sleep

I can't sleep
Too many thoughts have entered my mind
As my mind wonders about one
Then goes to the other
But tonight
My mind focused on you
I lay here
Wondering where you are
What you're doing
And most importantly
Hoping that you're thinking of me too
I toss and turn
I still can't sleep
You're face is still fresh in my mind
It's so clear
With those brown eyes
Dark, curly hair
And a smile
I'm still awake
Or maybe half asleep
I don't realize that I've drifted off
But you're still in my head
As I slowly fall asleep
