A tribute to Steve Irwin in a note to little Bene, his daughter
Your daddy was a saint
Like saint Francis you know
He entered heavens gates
Where only the angels go
He was a caretaker
For those not strong enough
To survive in this cruel world
Your Father's heart was pure LOVE
He educated millions
On conservation and more
My daughter said she'd be just like him
Was'nt that what he fought for
Bene I know you'll always remember
Just how he lived and died
But he was your father, that's different from us
Never say goodbye
He not only saved the wildlife
He saved a man once too, I'm sure Mommy told you
Without fear he dived
Saved that man's life too
Little Bene you.your brother and mommy
Were the 3 that made your dad smile
For mommy was his only soulmate
you and Bob Heaven sent him alittle while
Now you have an angel
Who from heaven looks down
He holds you close forever
Daddy will always be around
He says We'll always be together
I'll always be proud of you.....
