people often make us cry
and rarely give us a smile
sometimes it's hard to say goodbye
to the love of your life

There's nothing to be said
there's nothing left to explain
torn hearts, memories left behind
fainted photographs, time kills moments

Sometimes it's so difficult to hug somebody
for the last time, for the last kiss
the one who captured your heart, soul and body
the one you'll always miss

There's nothing to be said
no lies to be told
it's a bitter goodbye
silver or gold

Tears won't fill my eyes
i won't smile or cry
i'll just kiss you on the cheek
i won't try to fade or hide...
