She smiled and got away
the streets are empty but your presence
still lies there, among the stars
i hear a little voice over the balcony
whispering
"Happy Christmas, angel"
She cries. Her eyes' sky pours bitter rain.

I too liked the last line because i have also used the analogy of what I called acid rain to denote a deeply depressed state of
mind
