I wrote this last night, after being yelled at by my mom....

I see her

I see her,
She's a beacon of light
Hidden in the darkness

She sits on her bed
And cries to herself
Not wanting to move

She's so scared
Of what she will do to herself
She doesn't want to live anymore

She prays
She wants the pain taken away
And can only think of one way

She hugs her knees to her chest
Trying to come up with reasons to live
But none of them seem good enough

She turns on music
So no one will hear her
When she cries and screams from the pain inside

She can't handle it
Being yelled at day in and day out
And never yelling back

She wants to run away
But where would she go
No one would take her in

Tears streaming down her face
She takes the razor to her wrists
The pain inside slowly melts away

She hears footsteps
She quickly turns down her music and wipes her nose
So no one will know the pain she's hiding beneath the smile

I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I LOVE YOU
I LOVE YOU
I LOVE YOU

This poem is awesome, but sad too. I'm beginning to think every has or does feel this way.
But I hope you know that I love you either way, smile or tears
