I chased a dream tonight

I chased a dream tonight
difficult to catch
people were looking at me so sadly
i didn't care

smiles so fake, tears too sad
people leaving their beliefs to make it all up
make up your minds before it's too late
don't be afraid to follow a dream you had

nights that never end, traces never erased
over a shadow an unhappy smile
who can say what the future brings
all these things that can't be said

i chased a dream tonight
but i was blinded by a light
by the light of logic, the killer of heart
nobody can understand
