Sometimes, when pride takes a fall. You realise that it's what you've had all along that's the most important. For Lolly.

It's not about me.

Here I stand,
the great succes.
Just look at me,
a wreched mess.
Who causes
kith and kin distress.
Who has to move
to new address,
to pay the taxbills
of excess.
And work all hours
of conciousness.

To try and keep up,
with the game.
So I don't hold
my head in shame.
As only I,
should shoulder blame.
I held your hand,
and along you came.
In a quest for adventure,
and fortune, and fame.

Through all of time
we've fought our fears,
and seen our lives
through misty tears.
And perhaps to others,
it appears.
We've had it good
for twenty odd years.

For I am you,
as you are me.
Forever, into
Eternity.
We are the hearts
that set us free.
My God,"I LOVE YOU"

This gave me actual, real physical goosebumps. It is so meaty, so wonderfully pure in its goodness.
