The straightest route from A to B
All twisted and in wind.
Hapless helpless helpers help
The blind leading the blind.
It's cruelty in the cruellest sense
Being cruel to be kind!
A life lived a mere mortal
Sunshine pours upon your face.
The wonders of this earthly world
A fantastical place.
To look back smilling at the end
There is no fall from grace.
Just hope you've made things better
For a future human race.
