Looking back on a relationship and where you fitted in, you often wonder if some relationships are just a series of subconscious rescue missions. Not that well written but recording some thoughts

Rescue Missions

It was chivalry and a english rose that captured your eye,
when you wed in your carefree youth
Then you thrashed your thighs with the venus bird
when it seemed that your marriage was dead
In those stone cottage walls where your third love grew cold,
a new love was burning its course
The passion arose as you lay with me there
and called me your angel head
The years flew by and you travelled abroad
pledged a promise in cryptic words
With lost bloom and Li Shaojun
The loving words of Chingl-ai
It occurred to me as I read all of them
It was a rescue mission again
Caught up in your score of many more
When will you realise too!
