dedicated to Daisy, my new granddaughter

And, She Became You

God walked in the field,
hands stretched wide,
across the width of his garden,
gently caressing the tops
of the wildflowers.

Strolling along a Heavenly path,
smiling, letting his love fall
like star dust upon each flower,
He gave them all that they needed
to grow beautifully.

He called out to each one by name
and as he did so, each one would
rise up and blossom in his sight
revealing the colors he created
to adorn them.

On this day, he noticed her alone.
Beautiful and radiant, each petal
white as his pure silk robes and
her sweet soul, yellow like the sun,
she beamed in glory.

He said, "Daisy, rise up and live."
She reached her arms up to him
He gently picked her up,
pressed her to his heart
and she became you.

Now, you bloom for the world
still belonging in God's heart,
a part of his garden of babies,
you grow and thrive forever
because of His love.

Welcome Little One; you are loved.

Nana

Hail Mother! Hail! Only a woman can write it no man can ever dare or dream. Maternity is the only thing that man can never understand and feel. That's why, woman always remains a subject for man to study. May you discover many more splendid poems in the keyboard.

Really nice. It's so gentle and fragile, and strong. (and I'm not even religious.)
Very pretty and delicate!

Perfectly put! Yes!!! You join the other Daisies before you in a little boquet of very special blooms that God has gifted with grace and beauty of a unique sort. Now, a perfect trio of charms to bring joy with your soulful eyes and smile of light. Little Daisy you indeed are loved! And you will make a difference in the world, showing God's love in all you do.
