An encounter with a snake from my past. Oops, I stepped on his head.

Pitiful You!

Pitiful you,

Why is it you continue to stab me
when you have already killed me?
Why is it you stomp on my soul
when it has already left my body?
Why is it you hate me when I
am no longer yours to hate?
Why do you strike with your venom
when I am immune to you now?
Why don't you leave instead of stay?
Why can't you love instead of despise?

Oh, I forgot.

You, Serpant, crawl on your belly only
shedding your skin, never rising beyond
the reality of who you are.

Pitiful you, so caught up in your misery

I am free!
I am new!
I am alive!

I am beyond your understanding.

Pitiful you!

you stepped on his head - dont think he needs this write. Let him go, forgive him and move on. He can't stand that strength inside you.

You go girl....crushed beneath your feet seems an appropriate measure for the snake!

OOOOOOhh! This is magnificant! That stupid snake!, How I hate snakes! They are abominable creatures. I have a phobia of snakes as you well know. But I really like how you dubbed this one; pitiful! No bite. No power to frighten. Why should I even notice him!
