Waiting for the light

Waiting for the light

Far too long have I waited for your return.
My soul is numb from your absence, and the silent echo of
my lone beating heart the only melody that I hear now.

Can I hope of heaven once more
can I wish for that blissful feeling of perfect pure love
to engulf me once again and rekindle the firelight of my
soul?
Save me form this darkness.
Bless me with the light of you once more
