~ A better side of me
I am, I am, a cherry tree.they choose my greatest cherries,
and they pick them off of me,
I am I am, a bright blue sky,
people love to sit and watch me
but they run when I cry.
I am, I am, a river running wide.
I give you inspiration,
but for myself I cant not find,
an idea, quality, friend or faith,
that hasn't sent me running,
back to the lake.
For I am the water,
sitting still as stone,
with many hidden gifts,
but those gifts are left alone,
for no one cares to see,
a women at her best,
striving to change,
what you want at rest.
Though the trees may fall,
and the sky will rain,
and the river will freeze,
and the lake will drain,
my greatest features will have fallen,
and you'll be forced to see,
