~ PROMISE
Slithering girl, slithering boy.Poking at compassion, like some kind of toy.
That man and that woman make quite a team.
A team that is unbearable, a team that tortures me.
Take everything you once ment to me,
just throw it down the drain.
Becausae your stripping off my kindess,
your shaving the lions main.
The strength that you've both drained from me,
has dribbled down to all.
You both gently cuff eachothers hands,
look back, and let me fall.
Slithering boys, slithering girls.
Creep around peoples emotions,
Striking shivers, blood that curls.
Blood is not ment to be frozen,
from the blackness of a heat.
Abandoning someone takes nerve,
nerve that takes some kind of art?
How do all of you do it?
You just simply walk away.
You leave them in the dust,
when you PROMISED you would stay.
A PROMISE is forever, a PROMISE feeds the heart.
If the world can not trust promises,
then where do any on us start?
We're all lost without trust,
for we all need a trusted friend.
One girlfriend and one guyfriend will just hurt you in the end.
Because others finding love,
is more important then staying true,
true to friendship, true to PROMISES,
staying true to YOU.
To me, to the others, to anyone inbetween.
Who can you trust these days?
Modern morals turn obscene.
I PROMISE to stay true my friend,
And I PROMISE to stay there too.
I PROMISE to give you everything,
I'm giving my trust to you.
I'll give a second try,
on trusitng you my friend.
Because I know your different,
then the others who didnt bend.
