A poem about an old friend, sad for my type of poetry... enjoy :]
Every corner has been shaded
The picture has been paitned,
and I'm not there.
Once peacefull moments have been broken
I try to fix it but your not open,
to any type of reconstruction,
or slight repair.
Its not my fault if you swim or sink.
When I try to grab your hand,
but you dont stop to think,
that I might want to help,
its not some kind of joke.
I tried, I failed, and now, YOU choke.
I cant be the one, to dry up tears,
that I didnt cry, it just causes fear.
Fear that is ignored, fear that is hidden,
We BOTH hide from it, and thats OUR decision.
The fear is to unberable, you try and get away.
"Please, come back!", Those are words I just cant say.
Your pulling back now, and I know your there,
I just dont want to see, and I know its not fair.
I miss the starlight in your eyes,
I want it back, its no suprise.
If only I knew how I kept taking it away,
I'd give back every moment, just to hear you say...

~ Starlight
The starlight in your eyes has fadedEvery corner has been shaded
