Ex-smokers prayer

Just one more puff
Just one more toke
one last opportunity to smoke

The sweetest kiss
the softest scent
hear the ex-smokers lament

Today I failed
i'll try again
to leave your fatal touch. Amen.

I really like this! Personally, I think it would be even better were the meter of lines 3 and 6 to match that of line 9; then, it would have the metrical perfection of, say, a cigarette commercial's jingle... ;-,?
